  • Real Estate Investment Banking - We are particularly experienced in real estate, currently working on over $750 million of transactions representing 33 different deals in the Texas market alone, making Navigator Capital one of the most active investment banks in the sector.
  • Corporate Investment Banking (M&A, Debt/Equity capital formation and Financial Restructuring) - Navigator Capital has deep and broad expertise executing complex corporate finance advisory assignments across a variety of industry sectors.  Our partners have built and maintain senior level relationships with the nation's top equity and debt capital providers, and provide unparalleled access and expertise for client companies.

  • Real Estate Merchant Banking – Navigator’s Alpha Opportunity Fund is actively reviewing investment opportunities in: i) value-add multi-family opportunities; ii) recently constructed single-tenant NNN commercial properties; and iii) distressed opportunities the commercial, multi-family of MOB asset classes.
  • Strategic Consulting for the Federal Government – Navigator Capital is engaged with several Federal government agencies on a variety of strategic consulting projects.  Most prominently, we are advising the U.S. Department of Energy on various strategic and financial elements related to the formation and structuring of mechanisms to facilitate private investment into the renewable energy sector, as well as the implementation of a public-private loan guarantee program estimated to be approximately $120 billion.  

We have broad corporate finance expertise and longstanding relationships at the senior levels with private equity funds, private investment funds, finance companies and various lending entities, both within the United States and abroad.  Our strengths lie in our deep knowledge of corporate finance business strategies, high-quality and reputable financing sources and well-established relationships with senior executives in the corporate and finance markets. 

Our capital raising abilities are unmatched, as we structure each deal individually to attract the proper investor or investment group.  We only source capital from seasoned institutional investors, and have no contact with retail investors.  We are experts in managing the financing process, assessing the ability of a prospective investor to close without re-trading terms, negotiating and structuring through the inevitable problems which arise during due diligence, coaching the client and allowing them to create a positive relationship with the investor while negotiating hard on the client's behalf, standing side-by-side with management and taking a lead role in deal structuring and negotiations.  We are known for structuring creative capital solutions across the balance sheet.   

Our real estate investment sales division is highly effective, as we do not employ brokers or salespeople.  Rather, our investment bankers position assets for sale with a strategic mindset into existing institutional portfolios.  We have broad access to both U.S. and International buyers, and have built a valuable database with detailed information on buyers over our 30 years of practice which includes desired asset types, pricing, timing to close, terms and conditions, ability to close on financing and other proprietary elements which allow Navigator a far greater advantage when positioning assets for sale.

We also assist a select group of high quality developers with the creation of joint-ventures for the long-term development of industrial, commercial and multi-family assets, and arrange debt and equity financing for such ventures.  Our credibility in the markets allows us access to high-quality, long-term thinking partners who deploy capital over 3, 5 or 7 years on such projects, and desire to partner with solid developers who operate with integrity have a history of positive results.
